WHAT YOUTH MINISTRIES LOOKS LIKE AT SPRING MOUNTAIN BIBLE CHURCH
Much of our ministry is done outside the church building. The adult leaders involved in Spring Mountain Youth aim to meet our students where they are in life. This goal is met by spending time with students as friends, mentors, and safe people to talk to about the things they encounter as they grow. We have many events each year for the students to deepen relationships with each other and with the Lord. These events are designed for the students to include their friends who do not have a relationship with Jesus yet so they can know the life He offers. (John 10:10)
Every fall we join with our entire church family for a weekend at Eagle Fern Camp. It’s a wonderful time of fun and deepening community.
Each winter our high school and middle school students go on weekend retreats to take time away from the busyness of life, spend time with God, and have a lot of fun in the process.
Alongside these retreats, there are other events that take place throughout the school year. We have an annual all-night party, road trips, movie nights, game days, summer camps, and more! These events are advertised as they approach through our church emails, at youth groups, and through our youth group Discord page. Our goal at Spring Mountain Bible Church is to love God, love people and make disciples. We accomplish this by worshipping God, sharing His Good News, and sharing our lives with each other. We see our Youth Ministries not as a separate entity, but as a blessing and integral part of our church body.
STAFF
At Spring Mountain, we take Youth Ministry seriously. We have one Staff Youth Director and a team of passionate, loving, and well-trained volunteer youth leaders who dedicate hours each week to spending time with students in our youth group.
