To the ends of the Earth: mobilizing the Body, loving our international workers, reaching the Nations.
Why?
“Because we believe that God calls all believers to be involved in the world, either by praying, giving, or going.
What?
We try to keep international work alive at Spring Mountain by educating the body about work abroad, reminding Spring Mountain members to pray and support the international workers associated with our church, and actively helping those (who desire to be involved in international work) find the right place and fit.
How?
The International Team meets about every other month. Each member of the team takes an active role on the team.
Spring Mountain currently supports eight international workers and their families serving in Austria, Africa, and Asia. Spring Mountain members occasionally take short-term trips to visit our international workers, other international fields of service, or medical trips, especially with Medical Teams International.
Spring Mountain also adopted the Dangaleat, an unreached people group, in May 2000. Our commitment statement is as follows:
We, the people of Spring Mountain Bible Church, commit ourselves to see that the Dangaleat people of Chad become a people “reached” by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We commit ourselves to pray, give, and go until the Dangaleat have an established church within every significant and strategic village.
